Rethinking eating disorders from the inside outInsideOut Institute

Brand identity, collateral

Design Democracy worked with InsideOut Institute, the first national centre for research and treatment in eating disorders, on their new name and brand identity. More than one million Australians live with eating disorders.

Eating disorders are often hidden and require greater public awareness and discussion to help fight the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. The new brand is deliberately bold and high visibility to bring about this change.

The InsideOut brand celebrates the path to wellness. Tackling body image, working collaboratively with both the individual and within the sector, to look ‘inside out’ at treatment and rethink the path to a healthy mind and body.

The new brand is deliberately bold and high visibility to drive change.
